  • Author: Manson Carter
  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings
  • Diet: Vegan

Description

This Frozen Margarita is your ultimate summer sip—icy, zesty, and endlessly refreshing. Made with real lime juice and a splash of tequila, it’s the perfect cocktail for poolside parties, BBQs, or whenever you need a mini vacation in a glass.

Ingredients

  • Kosher salt (for rimming the glass)

  • Lime wedges (for garnish and rimming)

  • 1 cup tequila

  • 1 cup fresh lime juice

  • ½ cup triple sec

  • 2 tbsp agave syrup (or your favorite sweetener)

  • 6 cups ice

Instructions

1. Prep Your Glasses
Rub a lime wedge around the rim of your glasses and dip into kosher salt. Set aside.

2. Blend the Magic
In a blender, combine tequila, lime juice, triple sec, agave syrup, and ice. Blend until smooth and slushy—about 30 seconds.

3. Taste and Adjust
Take a sip and adjust the sweetness or tartness to your liking.

4. Serve and Garnish
Pour into your prepared glasses and garnish with a lime wedge.

Notes

Use a frozen margarita mix in a pinch and add fresh lime juice and triple sec for homemade flavor.
Freeze leftovers in popsicle molds or an airtight container, then re-blend with a splash of water to revive.
